After hearing the lions at night, wake up to the sound of the Fish eagle calling, just in time to see the beautiful African sun rise- you’re not alone…Phumula, meaning rest, is the ideal resting place. Our 3 star graded lodge is situated in Marloth Park, close to Mozambique and Kruger National Park.

Centrally located, we serve as a basis from where Mozambique and Kruger National Park can easily be reached. We take pride in our hospitality and friendly service. As we roam on our hospitality and friendly service, we have been described as Bella Bellisimo by some of our Italian guests.

Animals have access to the Kruger and Marloth Park as it is only separated by the Crocodile River.

We don't have fences around the building ... animals roaming around all the properties freely, with Zebra and warthogs on you front porch almost daily, with beautiful garden and african bush views form each unit!

The Bush awaits you to come and experience it first hand....

•          NO pets are allowed.

•          NO loud music allowed.

•          Book in time is 14h00 – 21h00 no late arrivals will be allowed and book out time is at 10h00.

•          Units are serviced daily from 08:00 to 11:00, except on Sundays and public holidays. 

           Should you require additional information or have special request please don’t hesitate to ask

•          A key and breakage deposit of R300,00 is payable with arrival.

•          ±23 km to Crocodile Bridge (Kruger National Park)

•          Please note Marloth Park is a malaria area (Not a high risk area)

PLEASE TAKE NOTE DUE: TO NATIONAL POWER AND WATER SHORTAGE; WE WILL BE HAVING ELECTRICITY AND WATER INTERRUPTIONS ON AN IRREGULAR BASIS.  PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS TOTALLY OUT OF OUR CONTROL AND IS A NATIONAL PROBLEM. BUT WE HAVE BACK UP WATER AND A SUFFICIENT GENERATOR!

Be entertained by kudu, zebra, giraffe, warthogs on your doorstep and even lion. For bird fanatics there is a large variety of birds.  The perfect stress reliever!

Facilities

Our fully furnished and serviced accommodation is offered in 4 air-conditioned thatched chalets. Comprising of:

Three bedrooms with the main bedroom upstairs (en-suite bathroom (shower and bath)) two bedrooms down stairs with one bathroom (shower)between the two bedrooms.

Lounge, fully equipped kitchen with microwave, toaster, braaipan, two plate stove, kettle.

Outside patio and braai area.

with either of the following to choose from…

Chalet 1:

One double bed and two ¾ beds

OR

Chalet 2

One double bed, one bunk bed and one ¾ bed

OR

Chalet 3

One double bed, one bunk bed and one ¾ bed

Chalet 4

One double bed and two  bunk beds

All accommodation units have cutlery, pots, pans, bedding and bathroom towels. (No swimming pool towels)

Meals: your choice of self catering, bed and breakfast or dinner bed and breakfast. We also have A la carte menu, pub lunch or a braai in the Boma for special occasions.

We also cater for small conferences.

Located in a prime position of Marloth Park, the lodge offers luxury self catering, bed & breakfast and fully catered accommodation.
