White linen, light cane furniture and candles, gives that touch of sophistication appreciated by local and foreign guests. Our ever changing collection of local art work also adds to the elegantly welcoming atmosphere.

Being from England and the South of France respectively, we have had the opportunity through the years to be involved in all aspects of Hotel and Restaurant management. Vincent is from a family of hoteliers based near Toulouse, and grew up working in the family owned Hotel / Bistro. We both worked mainly in Europe and Southern Africa where, in addition to running our own restaurants, were also exposed to 5 star hotels.

Together, our combined knowledge and experience, will ensure us giving you only the best and most friendly service making your stay at Chez Vincent Restaurant & Guest House an unforgettable experience.

Chez Vincent Restaurant & Guest House is situated in Nelspruit, the main capital of the province Mpumalanga. We are less than 3 hour's drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria, as well as Maputo in Mozambique, and less than 1 hour's drive from the Kruger National Park and Swaziland.

Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (a mere 20 minutes away from us), ensures that reaching us has become even more convenient. There is a variety of taxi services, as well as a chauffeur service that operates between ourselves and the airport.

Chez Vincent Restaurant has a relaxed ambiance...cool and airy in summer...warm and inviting around the fireplace in winter.

The menu is continental with a strong influence from Vincent’s South of France and Mediterranean background. Vincent is also innovative by keeping up to date with around the world new trends, as well as cooking regional South African products, such as game and farmed delicacies.

Our wine list changes continuously with an emphasis on the smaller, excellent wine estates in South Africa.

Chez Vincent Restaurant is a 36 seater, with secluded dining areas, and our outdoor terrace provides an unforgettable “Al Fresco” dining experience.

Guesthouse

Chez Vincent Guest House consists of six double en-suite rooms and five apartments/family rooms, all with private entrances and secure parking.

With its relaxed, yet sophisticated Mediteranean atmosphere, our guests can enjoy sundowners around the pool, peaceful outdoor reading or bird watching.

The bedrooms are spacious, all with standard upmarket Guest House features and air conditioning. Each is uniquely decorated, with its own colour scheme and custom made furniture, to give a more personalized and stylish touch.

Breakfast is served in the Restaurant or terrace. Our wide choice of continental, English and specialty Breakfasts are a real treat.

Directions of how to find Chez Vincent Restaurant & Guest House From Kruger Mpumalanga Internation Airport (KMIA) Exit the Airport premises and at the T-junction turn left towards Nelspruit. Continue till you get to a 4-way stop intersection. Continue straight ahead to reach the N4 highway and turn right at the T-junction towards Nelspruit. At intersection with Mr Price Home (on left) & Valencia Wholesalers (on right), turn left into Du Preez Street. Follow the road up and over the hill till you get to a T-junction. Turn right at the T-junction, and nearly immediately you will reach another T-junction. Turn right again (do not worry about the No Entry sign). You will see a large terracotta coloured wall, in large letters marked Chez Vincent Restaurant and Guest House on your right. In case you missed the Mr Price Home turn-off: Pass 1 set of Robots after Mr Price intersection, and look out for Henshall Street to your left at 2nd set of traffic lights. Turn left onto Henshall Street.
